This classy studio will become a nice castle to recharge for a new day exploring Waikiki.
You can see the beautiful sunset from the living room. You will forget all worries by looking the sunset.
A small kitchenette is there for you to prepare some snacks or even cook as it is fully equipped.
A balcony with panoramic windows to admire city, ocean and mountains. A queen size bed soft like a cloud is wanting you to melt down there and fully recharge for an adventurous day. A sofa to sit down for a while and watch the TV. What else someone needs on a vacation.
Pacific Monarch is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few blocks away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Pualeilani Atrium and the International Marketplace. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options.
There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Pacific Monarch building, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.
You will definitely enjoy all of the perks of the Island Colony condo itself, which offers a nice pool and Jacuzzi. - all at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in central Waikiki.

We stayed in a room in the Pacific Monarch during May 2022. The room was clean and in good condition. The location is convenient to everything. It’s easy to get a public bus near the building. I thought the price was reasonable.

Location was perfect. 2 1/2 minutes to beach.
Close to shopping restaurants etc, Unit was perfect for a couple.
We purchased beach chairs and would have left in condo but felt others had probably done that. Gave them to another family. Could we leave them and expect they would be there?

First the negatives. We arrived to find no key cards available for our room. Front desk was super helpful even tho they were not obligated to provide the cards for free for a private rental, but only gave us one unless we wanted to purchase a 2nd. The hot plate only had 1 element working and was very slow in heating. Bathroom vanity light had 2/3 lightbulbs burnt out, missing towel bar in the bathroom with very unprofessional finish on the walls, kitchenette walls could have been wiped cleaner. Safe was unable to be used, Hair and dust under the bed was obviously not only from our stay. Immediately tried to email and phone property management Lei Hawaii but received no response. We instead found their office on the last day and pointed out a few of our issues. Unfortunately there is construction on the west side beside our building, which was quite noisy from 7:30 am to 5pm. Positives, GREAT location, good furnishings, comfortable bed, studio was good for 2 adults, loved the pool and bbq deck area at the top of the building, great views from there. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great location for a reasonable price, but management should definitely take care of our concerns for the benefit of future guests. Perfect place, because just 100 meters from the ocean and 50 meters from bus stop which you can get anywhere on the island. In the hotel reception everyone is very nice and helpful was with us. The hotel benefits the place where it is, and the pool in the roof, which is open, so beautiful views one direction of the ocean and the other side to the amazing mountains.
Only recommend I know this property.

Awesome stay in the midst of sweet old Waikiki! PM staff very courteous and helpful. Lei Hawaii made check in/check out flawless. Unit was bright, airy, quiet, cold AC, great shower, awesome ocean view (esp from pool deck). More than enough linens, towels etc for a lengthy stay! Would stay again!
